Tournament Format

As in the past, the tournament will be a scramble again this year - each team member hits a tee shot on each hole. The team then collectively decides which of the four balls is in the best position to play next.

NEW this year!

  • To keep you hydrated and fed there will be TWO BEVERAGE CARTS on the course this year stocked with complimentary beverages and food.

  • A STREAM-LINED CHECK-IN process that begins at bag drop off.

  • Ability to PRE-ORDER raffle tickets, mulligans, and more so that it will all be waiting for you at your cart - no standing in line for our golfers who plan ahead!

  • BEST DRESSED contest for the best-dressed foursome- see below for details.

  • CLUBHOUSE BAR setting up OUTSIDE near the putting green so you can grab a drink as you round the turn.

  • AFTER PARTY at the conclusion of the tournament

    • As your team finishes the round, a buffet will be served in the pavilion next to the clubhouse. Closing remarks, tournament and contest winners and a spend end of tournament prize will be announced.

Dress to Impress

Teams always look best when they look like, well, a team. Last year we had several teams play in matching gear (I remember you Hawaiian Boys). This year we are celebrating Rob's 46th Birthday and his love Philly sports teams, bourbon, music, and movies for those of you looking for ideas. You may notice the shirts for this year match the Phillies' uniform colors for the 1976 season.

We encourage you to think outside the box this year and get creative. This is encouraged but certainly not required

Tournament Contests

We have several contests that are available for golfers to participate in should they choose.

  • Two of the contests are included in your registration - Longest Drive (hole 4) and Closest to the Pin (hole 12). The winner of each of these contests will win a prize.

  • There will also be a putting contest on the putting green with a $5.00 entry fee. Golfers may compete as many times as they want to share the 50/50 style payout with the American Lung Association! The winner will be announced at the banquet.

  • Team competition - Keep the Ball. $5.00 teams purchase a ball. If your team doesn't lose the ball. Your team wins a Rob Kalesse Memorial Souvenir.

  • TARGET PRACTICE: NEW THIS YEAR. More details to come!

Our last contest will take place on hole 18 and was a huge fundraiser for our event the last two years. The loud-mouthed, trash-talking, heckling duo is back to bet each golfer on their drive accuracy in the “get it on the green” contest. Golfers will be challenged to “bet” on their shot with lost bets going to American Lung Association. Some of you even paid a little extra to have them heckle your friends as they came through the 18th ...well played friends!
